The information on this page provides some idea of how many visitors and web pages we serve each month along with daily averages.
Because we do not track the names or user id of most visitors, we provide information in terms of "sessions". A session is considered a period of time where a user visits the site, views one or more pages of information, and then "leaves".
We start a session once the first page is served for a particular IP address. We end the session when the last page the visitor views is served. Our logs record these IP address entries in chronological order. If a visitor returns to the site after 30 minutes, it is considered a new session.
