- Burton, Ronald E. "Ron", (July 25, 1936- September 13, 2003), former record setting N.E. Patriot, All America, and College Football Hall of Famer. Burton is as well known for post-football days when he became a motivational speaker and founded and donated land for the Ron Burton Training Center, a summer camp for disadvantaged youth. Ron was well known locally and living in Framingham at the time of his death in 2003.
