Fall 2008 Hazardous Waste Day on October 25

FRAMINGHAM, MA -- The Town of Framingham's Fall 2008 Hazardous Waste Day is Saturday, October 25th. Time is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Location is the McCarthy School Parking Lot on Flagg Drive.

This is for Framingham residents only. Proof of residency is required and photo ID. No commercial waste. Reduce long waits by combining waste with your neighbors and car pool.

Accepted: pesticides, herbicides, bug sprays, rodent poisons, paint thinner, urethans, oil or enamel paints, lead based paints, pool & spa chemicals, concentrated fertilizers, cleaning solvents, caustic cleaners, degreaser, photo chemicals, old gasoline/kerosene, diesel oil, aerosol cans containing paint, mercury-containing devices.

Do not bring: radioactive waste, explosives, gunpowder, flares, ammunition, PCB oils, bulk chemicals/oil, asbestos, medical/biochemical waste or latex paint.
