March 27, 2007  (21:54:15 EST)

FRAMINGHAM, MA – The Town of Framingham is looking for the names of all Framingham men and women who have served or are now serving as a member of the armed forces overseas in the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. These veterans will be honored during Framingham’s upcoming Annual Town Meeting in late April with a banner display in Nevins Hall that will include the name of each veteran.

The banner is being generously donated by Jeffrey Newman, owner of Sign-A-Rama, a Framingham business. Those who are veterans or know someone who is a veteran of these wars are asked to contact the Selectmen’s Office at 508-532-5400 or via email at selectmen@framinghamma.gov no later than Monday, April 9, 2007 at 5 PM so that their name can be included on this banner.

Framingham’s Annual Town Meeting will begin on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 7:30 PM.
