Make-Over Winner Chosen, Project Begun
May 06, 2005 (19:18:02 EST)
FRAMINGHAM, MA – Framingham interior design firm m.charles beach INTERIORS announces it has chosen a local home for its 2005 Interior Design Makeover Showcase Project. “We received many inquiries from our first Press Release which ran on www.framingham.com." says m charles beach, President of (m) charles beach INTERIORS. "I got the opportunity to speak with every candidate who responded, as well as the opportunity to meet with just about every candidate in their home", added beach. After all the interviews were completed, the firm boiled the selection process down and decided on an unfinished basement in a contemporary A-Frame.
The footprint of the basement is 700 sq. ft and in that space the design firm will design and build three rooms. The largest space will be a Family Room, the second space will be a guest Bedroom and the third, a Home Office. The firm has finished the revised floor plans, color schemes, and design concept. "If you get the opportunity to look at our artist rendering of the space, you will see why we and the homeowners are so excited. Some design elements we have planned include an accent wall which will be faux-finished to resemble Teak wall panels, a palette of warm autumnal colors and a sliding Shoji screen door dividing the Home Office from the Living Room, all wrapped into a shell of a modern and open floor plan", says beach.
Not only are the Homeowners and (m) charles beach INTERIORS excited about this project, but vendors are coming on board as well. One national flooring company, InterfaceFLOR, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois has agreed to help sponsor this project with their outstanding product called FLOR™. It is modular, contemporary flooring that can be put down in any pattern on just about any surface. Not only is it durable, but the design pattern is totally unique to each and every application. Another Vendor is Paul Roy of Roy Carpentry from Northboro, Massachusetts.
