Notice from Framingham Democratic Caucus

December 27, 2005  (22:13:31 EST)

FRAMINGHAM, MA --If you want to participate in the Framingham Democratic Caucus to elect the Framingham delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic Convention, or be a candidate for delegate to the Convention (in Worcester on June 2-3,2006), you must be registered as a Democrat by 12/31/05. If you are unenrolled in any party, you can change your party registration by mail or in person at the Town Clerkıs office.

The main business of the 2006 Convention is to select the candidates for statewide offices who will appear on the Democratic ballot in the fall primary. We encourage all who have an interest in the process of nominating candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, etc., to learn how you can get involved.

The Framingham Caucus is Sunday, February 5, at Cameron Middle School (215 Elm St), registration opening at noon, the voting starting at 1:00.

For more information, please visit the Framingham Democratic Town Committee website, www.framinghamdems.org, or the Massachusetts Democratic party at www.massdems.org.
