Super Tuesday is coming on Feb. 5, Voter Registration by Jan. 16

FRAMINGHAM, MA -- Voter Registration Deadline is January 16, 2008 for the Presidential Primary. The Town Clerk’s Office is open that day until 8:00pm. The Presidential Primary is February 5, 2008. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked on or before the deadline date.
Registered voters who are enrolled in the following can vote in the Presidential Primary:
Democrat
Republican
Green-Rainbow
Working Families
Unenrolled (many times referred to as independents)
People who are registered to vote in political designation cannot vote in Primaries. Some examples of political designations are Libertarian, Socialist, Natural Law, We the People.
All unenrolled voters have their choice of one of the four ballots on February 5, 2008. Democrat, Republican, Green-Rainbow or Working Families. Unenrolled voters will automatically return to the unenrolled status after the election.
On Monday, January 14, 2008 on "Que Pasa Framingham,” Valery Mulvey, Framingham’s Town Clerk speaks about Voter Registration, National, State, & Local Elections at 8:00 PM on RCN channel 3, Comcast channel 9, and Verizon channel 43 produced by FPAC-TV.
