This home at 262 Edmands Road, topped the list of Framingham, MA residential real estate sales for July 2011, selling for $670,225

FRAMINGHAM, MA- There were a total of 57 residential real estate sales in Framingham during the month of July 2011.

Of the properties sold, forty three single family homes were sold at an average sale price of just under $319k, eight condominiums sold at an average price of $112k, five multi-family properties sold at an average of $231k, and one piece of land was sold for $160k.

Sold properties had been on the market for an average of just under three months, except for the land sale -- that property, a 4/10ths of an acre parcel located at 10 Fenwick Street was only on the market for four days, had an asking price of $159,900 and sold for $160,000.

FRAMINGHAM, MA- Sporting the traditional brew-master's lederhosen, at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2011, the Hendler brothers, Jack, Eric and Sam, of Jack's Abby Brewing, LLC, a new Framingham, MA brewery, arrive at the British Beer Company on Rt. 9.

Jack's wife, other family members, friends and a bar packed locals were already inside -- there to wish the brothers well -- to taste the first commercially available kegs of the brewery's beer -- and to be part of the launch of a new Framingham business.

Jack's Abby Brewing, which is located at 81 Morton St. in Downtown Framingham was founded in January of 2011. Downtown Framingham Traffic About to Get a Little Worse

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Long recognized as one of the worst things about Downtown Framingham, traffic along the Rt. 126 corridor through the Rt. 135 intersection and rail crossing is about to get even worse -- temporarily.

Construction is slated to begin June 23, 2011 to replace the Fountain St. bridge which some motorists use as an alternate route to avoid the traffic choked Downtown central district.

MassDOT and its contractor estimate the project will take 97 days and, baring any unforeseen circumstances, the projected bridge re-opening date is set for September 27th, (2011).

FRAMINGHAM, MA - A legal notice issued by the MA Dept. of Transportation indicates that Framingham Building Inspector Michael F. Foley, has requested the Massachusetts Department of Transportation conduct a hearing to determine whether a building permit shall be issued to the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, Inc., (formerly Great Brook Valley Health Center), for construction of an addition to an existing office building located at 354 Waverly Street in Framingham.
