Vendor space is still avialable for the Framingham Auxiliary Police sponsored Craft Fair that will be held December 10, 2011 at Keefe Tech.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - The Framingham Auxiliary Police will be holding their twenty-fourth annual Craft Fair from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011. The fair will be held at the Keefe Vocational Technical High School, 750 Winter Street, Framingham, MA.

A limited amount of exhibitor space is still available for crafters.

The Craft Fair will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. where you will find a unique holiday shopping experience. FRAMINGHAM, MA - Circle Furniture in Framingham is celebrating National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with "Circle of Five" - their fifth annual event to benefit the Needham-based Ellie Fund.

2nd Annual Warrior Thunder Ride

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Riders in the 2nd Annual Warrior Thunder Motorcycle Ride will be meeting up at the Paramount Harley Davidson dealership's parking lot in Downtown Framingham on Saturday morning, September 17, 2011.

Riders will arrive for registration between 9:30am - 11:15am, and then at 11:30am, they'll put up their kickstands and begin a police escorted benefit/charity ride that travels 50 miles of scenic Middlesex County roads between Framingham and Millis, MA,

The event, hosted by the Warrior Thunder Foundation raised over $4000.00 last year -- all to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project®, an organization which supports combat wounded U.S. "war fighters".

FRAMINGHAM, MA- The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is a 60-mile walk to fund breast cancer research and support local community education, screening and treatment programs.

This year (2011) the Boston 3-Day is July 22nd, 23rd and 24th, and the Opening Ceremony and starting point for the Boston walk is again at Farm Pond in Framingham!

The Boston 3-Day begins Friday morning, July 22, 2011.  Crew members should arrive at 4:00 a.m., walkers should arrive between 5:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m., and the Opening Ceremony, which begins with community stretching is at 6:30 a.m.

I had a chance to speak with Dr. Sheri Phillips, this year's National Spokesperson for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure organization.

At the start of the interview, I said "I'll ask some questions, and if any are too personal, or you prefer not to answer, or want me to leave anything out -- let me know."

Sheri, the Homewood, Illinois mother of two teenage daughters, and a practicing physician for the past 18 years who is now a 2-year survivor of breast cancer said, "None of it is too personal.  Information is power.
