The Alliance for the Mentally Ill (AMI) of Middlesex County, Inc., is the Greater Framingham affiliate of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI). NAMI is a grassroots, self-help, support and advocacy organization of relatives and friends of the mentally ill and persons living with mental illness. Our support group is open to anyone who has a relative or friend with a major mental illness. The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Columbia MetroWest Medical Center, School of Nursing, 85 Lincoln Street, Framingham, 7:30-9 p.m. Program meetings featuring speakers and films on specific topics are held on the third Tuesday of the month.
