Advice From the Framingham Board
of Health:
Enjoy summer cookouts, but handle food safely
By Jim Gordon,
Chairman of the Framingham Board of Health
With the
summer season in full swing in the MetroWest area, many
local residents will be enjoying family gatherings and outdoor
cookouts. While these are very enjoyable events, certain
precautions should be taken concerning food safety.
Symptoms of food-reltaed illnesses are nausea, vomiting
and diarrhea. Most food-related illnesses can be prevented
by proper purchasing, handling, cooking, processing and
storage...more.
