The system leverages cutting-edge technology and reliable data sources to deliver accurate and up-to-date information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-background\" style=\"background-color:#ffe0e0\">As of today, July 19, 2023 both Learned Pond beach and Lake Waushakum beach are closed due to bacteria.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Beach closures due to water contamination, severe weather conditions, or any other factors will be promptly communicated, enabling residents to adjust their plans accordingly and prioritize their safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of today, July 19, 2023 both Learned Pond beach and Lake Waushakum beach are closed due to bacteria. Conversely, <strong>BeachAlert will also notify residents when the beaches are ready for reopening<\/strong> after closures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BeachAlert system aims to create a stronger and more connected community by empowering residents with crucial beach-related information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By providing accurate and timely notifications, BeachAlert ensures that residents can make informed decisions and stay well-prepared for their beach outings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To sign up, visit the City's \"Notify Me\" page at: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.framinghamma.gov\/list.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.framinghamma.gov\/list.aspx<\/a>, provide an email address or smartphone number where you'd like to receive the alerts then select which types of alerts you'd like to receive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with <strong>Beach Alerts<\/strong>, on the same web page you can also subscribe to \"<strong>Municipal News and Announcements<\/strong>\", \"<strong>Public Works Notices<\/strong>\", \"<strong>Sanitary Sewer Overflow Notices<\/strong>\", \"<strong>Emergency Alerts<\/strong>\", info about municipal \"<strong>Bids<\/strong>\" and notices about \"<strong>Sustainability<\/strong>\" events.
