Must be computer-literate and committed.  Very interesting job.  Please call 508-532-5980, ext. 4102.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong> WELLNESS PROGRAMS:<!--more--><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Support Groups at Callahan Senior Center:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bereavement Support Group:<\/strong> Mondays, May 3, 10, 17 &amp; 24 at 10:00 am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u2018Better Breathers\u2019 Support Group:<\/strong> Wednesday,  May 12 at 12:00 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Caregivers\u2019 Support Group: <\/strong>Wednesday,  May 26 at 1:00 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Diabetes Support Group:<\/strong> Tuesday,  May 25 at 10:00 am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Grandparent Support Group:<\/strong> Wednesday,  May 26 at 7:00 pm. Please call the Center  to confirm in the event of a change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Low Vision Group:<\/strong> Friday, May 21 at 1:00 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Massage Therapy:<\/strong> Thursday, May 6 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm (by appt. only).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Parkinson\u2019s Support Group:<\/strong> Tuesday,  May 18 at 1:30 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Podiatry:<\/strong> Wed.,  May 12 with Dr. John 1:00 - 4:00 pm &amp; Wed., May 26 with Dr. Lukoff  from 1:00  -  3:30 pm (by appt. only).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Stroke Survivors\u2019 Support Group:<\/strong> Monday, May 3 at 1:00 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<p><strong>BLOOD PRESSURE CLINIC FOR MAY:<\/strong> Wednesdays, May 5, 12, 19 &amp; 26 - 9:30am\u201412:30pm<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>FREE Screenings will take place at the Callahan Center: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuesday, May 4th<\/strong> from 10:00 am \u2013 12:00 noon for <strong>Cholesterol &amp; Blood Glucose<\/strong> Screening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuesday, May 11th<\/strong> from 10:00  -  12:00 noon for <strong>Bone Density<\/strong> Screening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuesday, May 18th<\/strong> from 1:00 to 3:00 pm - <strong>Skin Cancer<\/strong> Screening.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>If  interested, please call the Center at 508-532-5980 to schedule your appointments.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>SENIOR WEEK ACTIVITIES:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Senior Week at Callahan Center: Monday, May 3rd from 9:30 am\u201411:30 am - \u201cOpen House\u201d at Callahan Center. <\/strong><em>If you have not been to the Center, please bring a friend, come for a tour, a copy of our newsletter and refreshments.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, May 4th from 9:00 am\u201411:30 am<\/strong> - Keefe Technical High School Cosmetology students will be offering free haircuts and manicures. Gratuities are welcomed.  Please call the Center at 508-532-5980 to make an appointment and specify haircut or manicure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, May 5th at 11:15 am<\/strong> -  Cameron Middle Chamber Orchestra will be here to entertain the Seniors with some of their new musical pieces.  Immediately following the Jazz Band, there will pizza and soft drinks with a \u2018Special\u2019 Bingo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, May 6th from 4:00-7:00 pm<\/strong> -  \u201c50\u2019s Dance with Bob Fisher and Pizza Party\u2014Break out those poodle skirts and bobby sox and come and jitterbug to your favorite 50\u2019s songs!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, May 7th at 11:30 am<\/strong> - \u201cJewels of Framingham\u201d Luncheon for those seniors 90 years of age and over.  This event is (by invitation only).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Please call the Center to sign up for these events at 508-532-5980.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS &amp; EVENTS:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, May 10th at 10:00 am - <\/strong>The Framingham Garden Club will be at the Center to assist seniors with creating a Mother\u2019s Day arrangement.  The fee for this class is $5.00 and includes all materials.  Seating is limited to 12 and we ask that you please bring your own scissors.  Please call the Center at 508-532-5980 to sign up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, May 10, 2010 at 1:00 pm -<\/strong> Friends of Callahan will hold their general meeting at the Callahan Center.  Entertainment will be provided by Jim Duncan &amp; the Southborough Senior Singers<\/p>\n<p><strong>May 24, 2010, 2010 at 1:30 pm<\/strong> - AARP Chapter 3557 general meeting will take place  at the Callahan Center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm<\/strong> - \u201cThe Changing  Seasons of New England\u201d -  An Acrylic Painting Workshop at Callahan Center. A painting workshop for adults with artist\/instructor Kathleen Nadolny Wirtanen. A donation of $3.00 is requested.  All supplies are included.  Register early. Class size is limited to 20.  Little or no experience needed. Please call the Center at 508-532-5980 to sign up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, May 22, 2010<\/strong> - Callahan Center 2nd Annual  Senior\/Boomer Conference from 8:30 am \u2013 2:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Are you ready to get outdoors and have fun ??<\/strong><\/em> Dust off those golf clubs and join the Callahan Golf Group starting on Wednesday, May 12th at 9:30 am at Stoneybrook Golf Course, 70 Valley Road,  Southboro.
