FRAMINGHAM, MA<\/strong> - the Framingham Public Library Summer Film Series will be showing Alfred Hitchcock's 1938 comedy thriller \"The Lady Vanishes<\/strong><\/em>\" starring Margaret Lockwood and Michael Redgrave on Thursday, July 29th at 7 p.m at the Main Library.<\/p>\n

The film will be introduced by Dr. Claudia Springer, Assistant Professor of Film Studies at Framingham State College. Ice Cream from Mad Willies will be served after the film.<\/p>\n

The Edinburgh University Film Society writes, \"[the film] has all the ingenuity and unparalleled mastery of suspense that made Hitchcock's Hollywood output so acclaimed and popular. It also however has a lightness of touch and warmth of humor that his later films lack.<\/em>\"<\/p>\n

The Framingham Public Library Main Branch is located at 49 Lexington St., (just off Rt. 126 \/ Concord St. near Downtown Framingham).<\/p>\n
