{"id":276,"date":"2010-01-13T22:45:05","date_gmt":"2010-01-14T03:45:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/framingham.com\/wordpress\/?p=276"},"modified":"2010-01-13T22:45:05","modified_gmt":"2010-01-14T03:45:05","slug":"school-move","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.framingham.com\/news\/2010\/01\/13\/schools-education\/school-move\/","title":{"rendered":"School Move?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Framingham School Committee is reviewing a plan for organizing the elementary schools.<\/p>\n<p>Parents are paying attention and discussing the plan online on Facebook and on an email listserve, frambors as well as attending the open public forums.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that the school committee and the media get input from the communities such as Southborough,\u00a0that have implemented a similar plan.<\/p>\n<p>Somehow having children changing schools every three years doesn't seem like a way to go.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One side issue is that\u00a0it\u00a0may result in a reduction in parental and student loyalty.\u00a0 It's hard enough to engage parents in the PTO and school activities and the less time they have to become attached to a school, the less involved they may be.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Framingham School Committee is reviewing a plan for organizing the elementary schools.
