{"id":34,"date":"2009-01-04T16:28:22","date_gmt":"2009-01-04T21:28:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/framingham.com\/wordpress\/?p=34"},"modified":"2010-04-05T03:58:07","modified_gmt":"2010-04-05T08:58:07","slug":"chowing-down-on-chinese-food","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.framingham.com\/news\/2009\/01\/04\/business\/chowing-down-on-chinese-food\/","title":{"rendered":"Chowing Down on Chinese Food"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While people may say, \"Not another Chinese Restaurant,\" when a new one opens up, many people like us are still looking for one that has consistantly good eat in as well take out food at a reasonable price.<\/p>\n<p>There is a location in Nobscot that has had several reincarnations as a Chinese\/Asian take out place and the Asian Buffet, which advertised extensively, yet we heard weren't very hospitable to diners as the closing hour approached, closed abruptly.<\/p>\n<p>Green Tea II, which still has ads on the back of Stop &amp; Shop register tapes, also closed in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Red Pepper has had good reports, but felt the need to add Brazilian food.<\/p>\n<p>Lotus Flower is good, but seems a notch or two above others as far as price.<\/p>\n<p>Sabrina Wong in Nobscot is good, but their soups vary and it is geared for take out, not relaxed dining.<\/p>\n<p>There are some places that might be good, but put us off due to the location, or the run-down appearance.<\/p>\n<p>And nothing has survived in the old Hawaiian Village location on Rt. 30 since it closed several years ago.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While people may say, &#8220;Not another Chinese Restaurant,&#8221; when a new one opens up, many people like us are still looking for one that has consistantly good eat in as well take out food at a reasonable price.
