The following 3 events are taking place in Framingham.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Paddle The Sudbury River<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Saturday, June 11th at 8:30AM<\/strong> - Join Bill Fadden and the Framingham Conservation Commission for a scenic 2 mile paddle on the Sudbury River. <span style=\"color: #e9153b;\"><strong>*** UPDATED: <\/strong>Although the RiverFest website indicates canoes will be put in at Little Farms Rd, others are putting in at the <a title=\"Central St. \/ Kellog St. canoe drop, Framingham, MA\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.massgis.state.ma.us\/dfg\/OFBA_GMAP.htm?OFBA_ID=181\" target=\"_blank\">Central St. \/ Kellog St. canoe drop<\/a> at the bottom of the hill by the Learning Center for Deaf Children and paddling to the reservoir in Saxonville<strong> ***<\/strong><\/span> The Little Farms Rd. landing is located just north of the Cameron School, off Elm Street.\u00a0 Participants are encouraged to <!--more-->bring personal flotation devices, sun block, water, snacks and bug spray.\u00a0 Parking is available at both the Kellog St. and the <img decoding=\"async\" title=\"More...\" src=\"..\/wp-includes\/js\/tinymce\/plugins\/wordpress\/img\/trans.gif\" alt=\"\" \/>Little Farms Road drop sites.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Carol Getchell Nature Trail Walk<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Saturday June 11th at 2:00PM - <\/strong>a leisurely walk along the Carol Getchell Nature Trail is being hosted by Pam Helinek, Framingham Conservation Commissioner.\u00a0 Participants will meet at trailhead on Little Farms Road and walk along the Sudbury River enjoying the sights and sounds along the trail which ends at the old Danforth Street Bridge.\u00a0 Participants are encouraged to bring sun block, water, a snack and bug spray.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 2px solid black; padding: 6px; margin: 4px auto; background: #ffffe0; width: 520px;\">\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">About Carol Getchell<\/h3>\n<p>Carol Getchell served as Principal  of the Mary E. The Carol J.
