While construction is in progress; it may be necessary for residents to access their properties, through the opposite <strong>intersection of Concord Street and \"A\" Street<\/strong> depending upon the location of the construction zone.\u00a0 At the end of each work day, normal traffic flow on \"A\" Street will resume. Access to side streets and <strong>Framingham High School<\/strong> will be maintained throughout the construction. Southbound traffic on Concord Street will be detoured from Concord Street to Cherry Street, from Cherry Street to Campello Road, from Campello Road back onto Concord Street. Access to properties and side streets will be maintained throughout construction. Construction activities will take place daily between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Deep gravity sewer main will continue to be installed on <strong>Concord Street, <\/strong>from the<strong> intersection of Cochituate Road (Route 30) <\/strong>progressing north towards Old Connecticut Path. Traffic on Route 30 east has been detoured to Beacon Street, from Beacon Street to Fairbanks Street, from Fairbanks Street to Concord Street north, from Concord Street north back onto Route 30 east. All businesses are accessible from Concord Street and Route 30 east between Beacon Street and Concord Street north. Construction activities will take place daily between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Danforth Street Bridge<\/strong> will be closed during construction. Please visit the MassDOT website for project information, <em>(see link below).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5611\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.framingham.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/20110804-edgell-rd-construction-02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5611\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5611\" title=\"Edgell Rd, Framingham Center, 24 Hour Detour, (August 2011)\" src=\"http:\/\/www.framingham.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/20110804-edgell-rd-construction-02.jpg\" alt=\"Edgell Rd, Framingham Center, 24 Hour Detour, (August 2011)\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.framingham.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/20110804-edgell-rd-construction-02.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.framingham.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/20110804-edgell-rd-construction-02-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5611\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Motorists traveling south on Edgell Rd will find a 24-hour detour as the approach the Framingham Center Common. In addition, the sidewalk is closed to pedestrians during construction hours.<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0The Edgell Road construction bypass will affect all through traffic. Both northbound and southbound traffic traveling on <strong>Edgell Road<\/strong> will be directed <strong>around the Town Common<\/strong> and back onto Edgell Road.\u00a0 Residents on Edgell Road, north of Auburn Street will be able to reach their properties from the north. The entrance to Auburn Street at Edgell Road will be closed daily between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Auburn Street, Auburn Street Ext. and Beulah Street can be accessed from Worcester Road. Grove Street and Library Street will remain open during this phase of construction. At the end of each construction work day, traffic flow on Edgell Road will revert back to the southbound traffic detour around the Town Common (Southbound traffic will be diverted\u00a0from Edgell Road to Vernon Street, from Vernon Street to Oak Street, and from Oak Street back onto Edgell Road.) with northbound traffic continuing travel on Edgell Road.\u00a0 Access to Auburn Street from Edgell Road will also be restored at the end of each work day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Fountain Street Bridge<\/strong> will be closed during construction. It is anticipated that the bridge will be closed until late September of 2011. Traffic will be detoured to the west, over the Winter Street Bridge and the Fountain Street Bridge in Ashland. Visit the MassDOT website for more information, , <em>(see link below).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Deep gravity sewer main installation will continue on Gorman Road. <strong>Gorman Road<\/strong> will be open to local traffic only between Concord Street and <strong>Grant Street Ext.<\/strong> during construction hours, normal traffic patterns will resume at the close of each work day. Construction activities are scheduled to take place daily between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Nstar Gas will be performing gas main work on <strong>Pond Street<\/strong> during the week of August 8th. Pond Street will be open to local traffic only while construction is in progress.\u00a0Construction activities are scheduled to take place daily between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Roadway reconstruction activities will continue on <strong>State Street<\/strong> with the installation of roadway binder, curbing and sidewalk installation. State Street will be restricted to local traffic only during construction operations. Construction activities are scheduled to take place daily between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Police detail officers will be present to ensure safe vehicular and pedestrian travel.
