The celebration will include refreshments, live music, and remarks from some of the prominent local officials who made LIFT 9 a reality.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What\u2019s the celebration about?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Beginning August 28, 2006 the Lift Public Transit System will begin providing direct service to the West Natick commuter rail station and the retail, residential and employment hubs along Route 9 in Framingham. LIFT 9 will offer bus service to places like the Natick Mall, Shoppers World, Framingham State College and the 9\/90 Corporate Center. There are also changes to the current Lift routes.
