Framingham Hazardous Waste Collection Day.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

FRAMINGHAM, MA<\/strong> - The Town of Framingham, Department of Public Works, solid Waste Division is holding its popular Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event<\/strong> on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 9:00am to 1:00pm<\/strong> in the parking lot of the McCarthy Elementary School<\/strong>, 8 Flagg Drive, Framingham, MA.<\/p>\n

There is no cost to dispose of hazardous waste materials.<\/p>\n

Event is open to Framingham Residents Only - <\/strong>drivers license with Framingham address must be shown as proof of residency.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Aerosol Paint Cans \u2022 Bleaches \u2022 Chemistry Sets \u2022 Household Cleaners \u2022 Drain Cleaners \u2022 Dry Cleaning Fluid \u2022 Floor Cleaners \u2022 Metal Polish \u2022 Oven Cleaners \u2022<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mercury Items (e.g.- florescent bulbs, button batteries, thermostats)<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \u2022 Cesspool Cleaners \u2022 Insecticides \u2022 Pesticides \u2022 Weed Killer \u2022 Fertilizers \u2022 Pool Chemicals \u2022 Rodent Killer<\/p>\n

\u2022 Adhesives \u2022 Glues \u2022 Resins \u2022<\/p>\n

\u2022 Brake Fluid \u2022 Transmission Fluid \u2022 Degreasers \u2022 Gasoline \u2022 Kerosene \u2022 Oil Based Paint \u2022<\/p>\n

To transport these items to waste collection event; Use original containers and seal tightly.\u00a0 Place items upright in a box in truck of your vehicle.\u00a0 Drive carefully, leave pets and children home. Do not smoke.<\/p>\n

DO NOT BRING<\/span> \u2022 <\/strong>Ammunition \u2022 Asbestos \u2022 Bulk Chemicals \u2022 Explosives \u2022 Gunpowder \u2022 Medical \/ Biological Waste \u2022 PCB Oils \u2022 Radioactive Waste (including Smoke Detectors).<\/p>\n

DO NOT BRING<\/strong><\/span> items which are collected as part of the regular program at the Framingham Recycling Center, (motor oils, antifreeze, propane tanks, tires, electronics and CRT devices, fire extinguishers, etc).<\/em><\/p>\n

NO LATEX PAINT<\/strong><\/span> - this may be disposed of as regular trash once paint has dried completely, (open the lid and add absorbent material, then leave open dried paint cans at curb next to curbside trash, or bring to the Recycling Center).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Open to Framingham residents<\/strong> only<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

No commercial waste.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reduce long waits -- combine your waste with your neighbors and car-pool!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Residents should anticipate wait times as this event has been very popular in the past.\u00a0 Arrive as early as possible to insure your items are taken -- no late arrivals will be accepted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
