The brewery will also induct Leisure Time Lager as core brand this fall; due to this wheat lager's popularity as the summer seasonal, Leisure Time will now be featured year-round.<\/p>\n<p>\"We always look forward to this time of year because of the wide variety of lagers we feature\u2014from extra hoppy to intensely maltty brews,\"\u009d says Jack Hendler, co-founder and Head Brewer.\u00a0 \"Not only are we able to include more locally sourced ingredients from New England in the Fall, but we are able to harvest local hops and pumpkins, involving us in each step of the brewing process.\" \u009d Each of the seasonal and specialty lagers continue the Jack's Abby traditions of featuring locally-grown ingredients, traditional German brewing standards and American innovation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The 2014 Fall Specialty and Seasonal Lager Line-up includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Leisure Time Lager<\/strong>: Now available year-round, this lager is brewed with wheat and a blend of spices including lemongrass, coriander, orange peel and chamomile. A subtle spiciness balances the citrusy and floral hops added to the whirl and hopback.\u00a0 Year-round release.\u00a0 ABV 4.8%, IBUs 15.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Copper Legend - <\/strong>This Octoberfest-style lager is malty, smooth and exceedingly drinkable -- perfect to celebrate the change in seasons. This beer features locally grown wheat from MA, Munich malt and noble hops. \u00a0 September release.\u00a0 ABV 5.7%, IBUs 22.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fire in the Ham - <\/strong>This intensely smokey lager similar to those found in Bamberg, Germany. Most of this brew's malt was dried over flaming beechwood, which ingrains unique smokey flavors. Aromas of campfires, smoked ham, and bacon dominate a soft malt and hop backbone. September release.\u00a0 ABV 5.4%, IBUs 20.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wet Hop Lager - <\/strong>Part of the Mom &amp; Pop's Harvest Series, this seasonal beer features 100% locally sourced ingredients including hops grown by the founders' Mom &amp; Pop, as well as other New England farms. Malted barley, unmalted spelt and wheat provide the finishing touches for this brew. Not to be confused as an extra-hoppy beer, this is a nicely balanced and pleasantly hopped lager. \u00a0 September release.\u00a0 ABV 5.2%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pumpkin Crop Lager - <\/strong>Part of the Mom &amp; Pop's Harvest Series, this seasonal beer features 100% locally sourced ingredients including pumpkins grown by the founders' Mom &amp; Pop, as well as other New England farms. \u00a0 Perfect for the Fall season, a blend of autumnal spices complements an intense pumpkin flavor. October release.\u00a0 ABV 5.5%, IBUs 10.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Kiwi Rising - <\/strong>We refer to this intensely hoppy and strong lager as a Double India Pale Lager. Over four pounds of New Zealand hops (Kiwi Hops) per BBL were used in progressively larger hop additions throughout the brewing process. Four kettle hop additions, whole leaf hops in the hop back, and multiple dry hop additions infuse an intense floral and citrusy aroma. October release.\u00a0 ABV 8.5%, IBUs 105.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lashes Lager<\/strong> - This hopbock lager balances an assertive Munich Malt character with an infusion of Super Styrian, Columbus and Palisades hops. It's full-bodied and malty with a hop aroma that's both spicy and piney.
