FRAMINGHAM, MA<\/strong> -- Based on a request from the Board of Selectmen, officials from the Assessor\u2019s Office will give a presentation about how assessments are calculated for commercial and residential properties on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 7 p.m. in Nevins Hall. The public is welcome to attend this event and will be allowed to ask questions about the assessing and abatement process.<\/p>\n Nevins Hall was selected as the site for the public hearing since it has a seating capacity of about 1,500 so that a large crowd can be comfortably accommodated. Residents and business owners can take advantage of this opportunity to attend on a proactive basis.
