FRAMINGHAM, MA<\/strong> - The Framingham Public Schools, (FPS), is seeking community input on a new logo to replace the current logo which is basically the old town seal with the words \"FRAMINGHAM PUBLIC SCHOOLS\" encircling it on a blue background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to an informational web page about the new logo, \"the District is seeking a unique visual identity including a logo, defined colors, and fonts so that all marketing, recruitment, and district material can have a consistent look and feel.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The school district has chosen to move ahead with this branding effort for the start of the 2021-2022 school year, when it opens a new Welcome Center and plans to launch an updated, modernized website and to provide refreshed recruitment material to attract teachers and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The redesign is well underway, (initial concept drawing were show and discussion took place during the June 23, 2021 School Committee Meeting)<\/em>, and the district is gathering community input on both the logo and slogan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After eliminating earlier designs, there are two logo concepts to choose from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- or -<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Framingham<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The logo would be used for; offices \/ school department representation, website, social media, official FPS letterhead, business cards, recruitment material, calendars, newcomer guides, kindergarten booklets, FPS vehicle decals and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should be noted that the new logo and branding will not<\/em><\/strong> affect the Framingham High School (FHS \/ Flyers) logo which is used on uniforms, scoreboards, or other FHS Arts \/ Athletics items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with the logo, the district has three proposed slogans it would like community input on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The slogan options are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Embracing Different. Inspiring Futures.<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Embracing Differences. Inspiring Futures.<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The district is asking that FPS teachers\/staff, students, parents and all Framingham residents and community members complete the Google Form and provide your input<\/a> by July 23, 2021<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
