Framingham company Correlsense awarded 2010 Red Herring N. American Top 100 Finalist

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Correlsense, a Framingham based business transaction management software and service company today announced another key strategic partnership. London based Fusion Business Solutions, an IT management systems integrator will provide "a qualified local presence in the sales and support of Correlsense's SharePath".

This is just the latest in a chain of good news for the Framingham company.

On June 15, 2010 Correlsense was selected as a finalist for the Red Herring North America 100 award -- a prestigious  award by a top internet media company whose mission is to "cover innovation, technology, financing and entrepreneurial activity".  Simply being named one of only 100 finalists in a field that spans all innovative entrepreneurs in North America is an accomplishment of it's own.  The award is sure to propel Correlsense even further into the IT spotlight.  In 2009, Gartner Inc, (a leading information technology research and advisory company), listed Correlsense as one of their "Cool Vendors in IT Operations"

In May (2010), Correlsense entered into an agreement with Canadian mission-critical computing provider OnX Enterprise Solutions to have that company distribute Correlsense products in Canada.

In March (2010), Correlsense recieved $8 million in "round B" venture capital funding from Accel Partners, adding to earlier financing from Vertex Venture Capital, eXceed Technology and ProSeed Ventures.  Accel Partners focuses on technology companies in data management, analytics and systems management market that are "first to define a market category and transform an industry".

Correlsense's management team is led by Oren Elias, (CEO), and Lanir Shacham, (CTO), both MAMRAM IDF computer academy graduates at Bar Ilan University, Israel.  Both also served in the Israeli Defense Forces, (IDF),  Intelligence Forces developing knowledge management systems.

Most other members of the Correlsense management team were also educated in Israel and have specialized computing, military and business expertise that appears to blend well to develop, market and support SharePath -- the company's core product offering.

John David Reuben, Correlsense VP of Sales and Marketing, holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and among other credits was formerly worldwide sales director at Oracle Corporation.  Mr. Reuben is also Founder and President of the Sudbury, MA based non-profit Saving Teens® in Crisis Collaborative, (www.savingteens.org), an organization he formed "assist troubled teens and their families struggling with substance abuse and other emotional issues", something he's passionate about based on his own family struggles.

Correlsense SharePath product gives business transaction service providers the ability to monitor and measure performance from end to end and identify weak points and bottlenecks down to an instance of a computer process.  The software and services allow real time system operators to optimize performance and rapidly pinpoint problems saving time, IT resources and money and improving the performance of their applications, network and infrastructure.
