Solomon Carter Fuller: Scientist, Pioneer, Immigrant (Zoom Lecture)
Tuesday, May 28, 7:00 pm *** Zoom Lecture *** In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Framingham History Center would like to highlight the life and work of Solomon Carter Fuller, the first Black psychiatrist in the United States. In our virtual lecture, we will discuss Dr. Fuller's impact on the studies of mental health issues and Alzheimers, his story of becoming a doctor in the U.S. as well as the struggles he faced as a black man and immigrant in Framingham.
