Brothers Jack, Eric and Sam Hendler of Jack's Abby Brewing to host Framingham (Library) Fermentable Fundraiser December 1st, 2012.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Award-winning Framingham craft brewery Jack's Abby Brewing is teaming up with the Framingham Public Library Foundation for a fermentable fundraiser.

On Saturday, December 1st, 2012 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, the brewery, located at 81 Morton Street, will host a guided tasting of its beers and a private tour of the facility.

The event is to help the Foundation raise money to offset the cost of building a new McAuliffe Branch Library and create an endowment fund for other library projects.

The evening will feature talks about beer styles and the brewing process by head brewer and co-owner Jack Hendler along with local newspaper writer Norman Miller who is also the author of the book "Beer Lover's New England".

Hearty appetizers will be served and there will be a raffle for a Jack's Abby Brewing gift basket. A portion of the proceeds from brewery products sold the night of the event will also be donated to the Foundation.

Tickets are $30 and are available at Framingham's main library at 49 Lexington Street, and the McAuliffe branch library at 10 Nicholas Road. Tickets will also be available at Jack’s Abby Brewing the night of the event (cash or check) only.

Jack's Abby Brewing was opened in Framingham in 2011 by brothers Eric, Jack, and Sam Hendler, and has rapidly grown and won acclaim for both its beers and community involvement.  For more info the brewery, visit their website at:  www.jacksabbybrewing.com
