FRAMINGHAM, MA - Just a few spots are still available in Summer TV Camp at Access Framingham!

This coming August, AF-TV will offer its second Summer TV Camp to young people ages 10-12. The dates are Monday, August 12 through Friday, August 16, from 9:00am-2:00pm each day.

Campers will work together to develop and produce an original program. Every child will have a hands-on experience with studio cameras, microphones, control room switcher, graphics and audio. Thanks to a grant from Impact Framingham, we will be adding a performing arts instructor who will teach kids about performing for television and developing a script, as well as a session on interviewing skills. Their final project will be played on Access Framingham TV and made available online on www.accessfram.tv

All participants will receive a DVD of the show. In order to ensure that each student gets individual attention and the maximum amount of hands-on experience, our class size is limited to 15 campers.

The Impact Framingham grant also means that the cost of the one week workshop has been reduced to $150.00, which includes a one-year AF-TV Youth Membership enabling use of our studio facilities and certification, with parental supervision, to check out AF-TV production equipment to work on additional programming throughout the year.
