FRAMINGHAM, MA - Promoters of the New England Shake-Up and it's host venue, the Framingham Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center have announced that "unfortunately, due to ongoing health and logistical concerns, there will NOT be a New England Shake-Up in September 2021"

The event, which would have been the 7th annual was scheduled for the weekend of September 24-26, 2021 and was billed to include three days of live music, record hops, a vendors area selling vintage records and other music related goods.

All 2021 Shake-Up Weekend Events Also Canceled

Featured favorites like the "The Bay State Barn Dance" music and variety show, and the "Tune In Picnic" an outdoor record fair featuring DJ's spinning disks and vintage and quality repros for sale, "The Pineapple Pounce" billed as a tropical shindig as well as the seminars and talks have all been cancelled and rescheduled to September of 2022 -- and moved to Sturbridge, MA.

Refunds Offered

As mentioned, the 2022 New England Shake-Up events will NOT be held in Framingham, MA.

All who purchased tickets to the 2021 Shakeup have until 5:00pm EST on October 1st, 2021 to request a refund, after which all outstanding 2021 tickets will automatically be rolled over to the 2022 Shakeup.

All hotel reservations made at The Sheraton Framingham in conjunction with 2021 Shake-Up have also been cancelled, (call the Sheraton at (508) 879-7200 for any questions regarding cancellations).
