FRAMINGHAM, MA - The MA State Treasurer’s Office of Economic Empowerment (OEE), in partnership with the MA Division of Banks (DOB) and the MA Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation (OCABR), announced Framingham High School to receive a 2025-2026 Financial Education Innovation Fund Grant in the amount of $3,700.

The funding is to be used to host a "Credit for Life Fair", (financial education fair) for students.

Following a competitive application process that concluded in November, the state agencies awarded grants ranging from $2000 to $6,900 per school to 92 schools, totaling $383,420.00.

The Financial Education Innovation Fund Grant was established as an ongoing effort to strengthen access to financial literacy throughout Massachusetts and is funded by the Division of Banks through a settlement over alleged unlawful lending practices.
