FRAMINGHAM, MA - President Obama's uncle, Onyango "Omar" Obama, who nearly hit FPD Officer Val Krishtal and was subsequently arrested for OUI near the Chicken Bone Saloon in Downtown Framingham on August 24th appeared in court this week for a status hearing on the OUI charge.

"Uncle Omar" as the President refers to him in his book, "Dreams From My Father", is an illegal alien, ordered to leave the U.S. two decades ago, but somehow managed to remain in the country, get a social security number, get a job, (at Conti's Liquors on Concord St. n Framingham), and quietly go about his life in Framingham.

At the status hearing this week, Onyango Obama's lawyer, Atty. P. Scott Bratton told Judge Robert Grecco that he would be filing a "Motion to Supress", claiming the police did not have probable cause to pull his client over in the first place.

Among other things, what the attorney would be seeking to suppress is the 1.4 breathalyzer results, (nearly twice the legal limit), and all other statements and evidence gathered after his client was stopped -- leaving the Framingham Police and the Middlesex District Attorney Gerald Leone's office with virtually nothing that could be used against Obama at trial.

Many find it ironic that an illegal alien, one who has already been ordered out of the country is now seeking to use the legal system and depend on "his rights" -- while others think its just plain stupid to think nearly hitting a police cruiser isn't grounds to be pulled over.

Upon being arrested, when asked if he'd like to make a phone call, the President's uncle said, "Maybe I'll call the White House".  Once news of the arrest came out, a global media frenzy pointing to the fact that yet another of the President's relatives had been found living illegally in the US.

Obama and his attorney will appear in court again on January 12, 2012 , for a hearing on the Motion to Suppress.
