  • Burton, Ronald E. "Ron", (July 25, 1936- September 13, 2003), former record setting N.E. Patriot, All America, and College Football Hall of Famer. Burton is as well known for post-football days when he became a motivational speaker and founded and donated land for the Ron Burton Training Center, a summer camp for disadvantaged youth. Ron was well known locally and living in Framingham at the time of his death in 2003.

  • Taglianetti, Peter (b. August 15, 1963) - hockey player. Taglianetti played for the Framingham South High Flyers Hockey team, (class of 1981), then went on to Providence College where he played in the Eastern College Athletic Conference, (ECAC). Peter was then drafted by the NHL Winnipeg Jets. Taglianetti played for three other NHL teams in his pro career, (the Minnesota North Stars, Pittsburgh Penguins and Tampa Bay Lightning). Although his career was plagued by injuries and he did not play in any championship games, Taglianetti was a member of, and played in 44 regular season games with the 1991-1992 Stanley Cup Champion Penguins and his name appears on the Stanley Cup, ("#32 Peter Taglianetti").
