FRAMINGHAM, MA -- The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project will use a helicopter to apply a bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis (Bti) over wetland areas located in Framingham, April 19-30, 2021, between dusk and 11:30 p.m.

The application is scheduled for Framingham's wetlands that are located in the vicinity of Angelica Drive, Callahan State Park, Fairbanks Road, Palmer Road, and Walnut Street.

FRAMINGHAM, MA -- The Framingham Department of Public Works will begin its spring curbside brush and leaf collection at the end of April.

Leaves will be collected first, April 26-30, and brush will be picked up May 3-7 on residents’ regularly scheduled trash/recycling collection days during those weeks.

FRAMINGHAM, MA -- The Framingham State University RAMS softball team swept Bridgewater State University this afternoon in doubleheader action at Maple Street Field. The Rams took the opener 2-1 before shutting out the Bears 4-0 in the night cap.

In the opener, the Bears grabbed a 1-0 lead on a solo homer to left center off the bat of sophomore Madison Dana.

Because the third- and fourth-quarter bills were created close together, the fourth quarter bills included a tally for both the third- and fourth-quarter real estate taxes.

Edgell Road Gas Main Replacement - Eversource gas will mobilize and begin replacing the gas main on Edgell Road between the Nobscot intersection and Donovan Drive. Expect moderate delays. Lane shifts and a one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - The MBTA today announced upcoming schedule changes for the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail Line taking effect on April 5, 2021 that better meet the evolving needs of passengers through on-the-hour weekday service between Worcester and downtown Boston and half-hour weekday peak service between Framingham and downtown Boston.

These upcoming changes improve the Framingham/Worcester Line by moving its schedules closer to a Regional Rail style of service that best meets the needs of both pre-pandemic commuters and new riders.
